Candidates should have passed the PUC / 12th/ Equivalent Exam with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for Karnataka reserved category candidates) in any stream (Science, Commence, Arts), from any recognized board with English as a mandatory subject.Key Features

Programme Assessment
- Assessment includes assignments, case studies, and mini projects, as internal assessment, and semester project presentations, and portfolio reviews as semester exams.
- Evaluation emphasizes creative problem-solving, design aesthetics, project viability, technical skills, and attitude.
Programme Outcome
CMRU School of Design prepares its students for 4 possible outcomes: - Employment - Further studies in India or abroad - Entrepreneurship - Academic research- During the programme, students complete 3 internships - at the end of 2nd, 4th, and 6th semester, which provides them with a clear understanding of the industry landscape. The Capstone Project in the final year is guided by the industry/ NGO sector/ startup incubator, and CMRU School of Design, which enables students to define a clear focus on their professional path after graduation.
- Graduates can pursue careers as graphic designers, art directors, UX/UI designers, creative directors, become design entrepreneurs, or further contribute to the academia.
- They are skilled in creating visually appealing and effective communication materials, they understand what drives branding, marketing, and advertising campaigns across various industries, and use Design Thinking as creative problem solvers.
