Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have passed the 2nd PUC / 12th / Equivalent Examination with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics and Mathematics along with one of the following: Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies or Entrepreneurship (40% for Karnataka reserved category candidates) from a recognised board.
Candidates must also qualify in one of the following entrance exams: CET / COMED-K / JEE / Other state or national-level entrance tests.
OR
Passed the D.Voc stream in the same or allied sector.

- Grades and GPA: Students are awarded grades per course; SGPA and CGPA are calculated to track academic progress.
- Prescribed Curriculum: Includes courses, labs, and degree requirements along with SWAYAM and MOOCs from reputed institutions.
- Auditing Courses: Optional audit courses allow students to gain extra exposure without a grade, improving placement preparedness.
- Evaluation System: Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) and Semester-End Examination (SEE) each carry 50% weightage.
- Assessment Methods: Include assignments, seminars, quizzes, group discussions, presentations, and industry reports.
- Semester-End Exams: Conducted for all registered courses, with some exceptions for CIE-only courses.
