Programme Assessment

Assessment includes assignments, case studies, and mini projects as internal evaluation, and semester project presentations and portfolio reviews as semester-end assessment.
Evaluation emphasises creative problem-solving, design aesthetics, project viability, technical skills, and professional attitude.

  • During the programme, students complete three internships – at the end of the 2nd, 4th, and 6th semesters – which provide them with a clear understanding of the industry landscape. The Capstone Project in the final year is guided by the industry, NGO sector, startup incubators, and the CMRU School of Design, enabling students to define a clear focus on their professional path after graduation.
  • Graduates can work as product designers, design engineers, or product managers. They are equipped to design a wide range of products, from consumer electronics to furniture, contribute to innovations in product design and development, become design entrepreneurs, or further contribute to academia.
